The Surgical Center at Columbia Orthopaedic Group (COG) achieved certification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). AAAHC certification indicates that COG has met the highest level of nationally recognized standards for providing quality health care.

Ambulatory health care institutions undergo an extensive three-year process to earn this certification. AAAHC's expert surveyors (physicians, nurses, and administrators all actively involved in ambulatory care) complete an onsite survey ensuring that COG embodies the quality everyday philosophy and an ongoing commitment to high-quality care and patient safety.
